Made up of 2 parts, the new 15mm RatBat Modular Rangefinder Mount was designed by the late Ed Ratcliffe and Barney Batchelor to enable Rangefinder users to reposition the sensor’s height and range whilst also allowing for more modularity to make the Rangefinder more compact for lens specific builds like AR or Trinity modes.
The new extendable mod allows 11 different positions for the screw in 15mm bar to move in, helping you to make the sensor more flush to the camera on smaller lenses or to extend the reach of the sensor if you put on a bigger lens such as a zoom quickly whilst on set.
With 3/8” UNC threaded holes with Arri anti-twist holes as well as 1/4” UNC threaded holes it allows you to mount other items to the unit such as FocusBug Cine RT & Cinetape.
Best used in conjunction with the Preston Light Ranger 15mm Dovetail Mount or the Pan Tllt Bracket for Rangefinder Mount
An optional 15mm studio adaptor adds compatibility with 15mm studio rod setups.
Machined from high grade aluminium and supplied hard black anodised. Custom anodising and engraving available upon request.
